Rest in Peace...Mom

My girlfriend's kid came home today with a picture for his mom. I think he's been reading too much Poe. I can't figure out why on Earth he decided to make such a morose picture. I asked him how he settled on the final design. "I just thought of graves and moms and then put them together." How obvious! At least he put a nice red rose under "mom." Other elements of the carefully crafted work are the night sky represented by chaotic scribbling with a black marker. I found it quite amusing that the midnight black marker is scented with the flavor of fresh baked sugar cookies; just like mom used to make.
